If you grew up in West San Antonio, you know this community is special. I’m a San Antonio native, and while I’ve lived in different pockets of our great city, I spent my defining teen years right here in the Potranco area—even graduating from John Paul Stevens High School just right down the road (Go Falcons!).

This neighborhood isn’t just a spot on a map to me; it’s home. When it came time to open Blue Jug Alkaline Water & Health Market, there was no question about where I wanted to be. I wanted to bring something genuinely good to the community that raised me.

Let’s be completely honest for a second. Am I the poster child for perfect wellness? Not even close! We’ve all seen the online influencers making healthy living look impossible, expensive, and a little exhausting.

But over the past few years, I’ve learned a simple truth: what we put into our bodies matters. You don’t have to completely upend your life to feel better. I am learning every single day, and whatever knowledge I gain about hydration and wellness, I want to share it directly with my neighbors. We are in this together.
